I have been a patient of Mr Bailey (Chris) for around the the last 3 months. I've had shoulder problems for a number years and went to Mr Bailey for advice on what could be done. After examination, x-rays and ultra sound he talked me through my options pointing out the pro and cons of each option in a clear an honest fashion. I chose to have subacromial decompression on March 14th 2016 and Mr Bailey has given me excellent support throughout my post operation recovery and during my subsequent physio. I think I've been very lucky with my treatment and with my consultant. I am not sure things could have gone any better. It is seven weeks since my operation and I am back on the squash court (taking it a little bit easy) and I've played golf with only minor aches. I am one very happy patient .... thanks Chris !

I am now 3 months post total knee replacement performed by Mr Bailey at Sarum Rd Hospital, Winchester. I have no complaints whatsoever of the care I have received from Mr Bailey and am amazed at how quickly I have progressed in such a short period of time. I now have a fully functioning and pain free knee. The whole process from initial consultation through surgery to my final appointment was handled in a professional manner with full explanation of what I should expect. I did not feel hurried and was given time to ask questions. The first few days were very painful and the following 2 weeks were uncomfortable, mainly due to the fact that the theatre dressing could not be changed, but I was expecting this and with a combination of effective pain control, outpatient physio, daily exercising at home and finally hydrotherapy I now have a new lease of life! Thank you Mr Bailey!

From the initial consultation you are put at ease with his polite and friendly nature, explaining and answering all questions you have on the procedure necessary. You are seen before and after your surgery, again explaining all that has happened to you and what needs to be done next. And all after care appointments were prompt, on time and courteous. Mr Bailey and all of the Nuffield Hospital staff from Receptionists, Nurses, Theater Staff and Physiotherapists were all excellent, professional and helpful and come very highly recommended.

While the NHS doctors were faffing about deciding what is wrong with my knee, Mr Bailey saw me one, explained it all and explained what he would be doing. A few weeks later, the operation was performed and a couple of months later, the knee was well on the way to being recovered. By far, the friendliest and most helpful doctor I have ever seen.

My husband had a serious trauma to his shoulder and elbow. We where told in A & E that it would be life changing. Mr Bailey has been fantastic he has a very caring nature and listens to what you want to achieve. We are now 12 months forward from the trauma and my husband is determined that his life changing injuries will not stop us moving forward. Mr Bailey has been very realistic and positive and has helped us stay positive. My husbands next goal is to play golf by the end of August this year ( 2016). A big thank you Mr Bailey.
