I am now 3 months post total knee replacement performed by Mr Bailey at Sarum Rd Hospital, Winchester. I have no complaints whatsoever of the care I have received from Mr Bailey and am amazed at how quickly I have progressed in such a short period of time. I now have a fully functioning and pain free knee. The whole process from initial consultation through surgery to my final appointment was handled in a professional manner with full explanation of what I should expect. I did not feel hurried and was given time to ask questions. The first few days were very painful and the following 2 weeks were uncomfortable, mainly due to the fact that the theatre dressing could not be changed, but I was expecting this and with a combination of effective pain control, outpatient physio, daily exercising at home and finally hydrotherapy I now have a new lease of life!
