I am really happy with Sarum Road Hospital after my first total knee replacement. Was a bit nervous at first but the care was extremely proffesional from start to finish from all of the Staff. They were all Excellent. Everything was explained perfectly and all my concerns and questions were answered. MR. Bailey and his Team really looked after me during the operation. I choose to be conscious through it and they checked me on a regular basis. The care that I received was spot on. The help and advice I received for medicines and Physio was excellent. I can recomend Sarum Road Hospital 100%. I hope Mr. Bailey will be the Surgeonwhen my left Knee requires replacement ! Thank you Alll for looking after me

Nothing was too much trouble for thr the staff who were always available when required. The hospital was very clean and service good. The same with outpatients/physiotherapy.

The hospital is the best I have been in, super clean, super organised and I was seen straight away without waiting for each appointment. The staff are all considerate and go out of their way to help in any way they can. I highly recommend this hospital.

From consultation to aftercare Sarum Road staff were superb! Pre-op consultation thorough, superb cleanliness and felt listened to. Surgery went well. Aftercare wonderful. All the nurses were fantastic. A shout out to the food organiser Peter who was amazing when I had a sickness reaction and called in on me to ask what I would like to eat and made sure I'd eaten something even if it was just a soup that I fancied or the seabass without the sauce or just a slice of toast. He understood I wasn't well and even gave me lemon and ginger tea to help ease the sickness. When you are feeling sick these things become very important in recovery. When I got home I knew any problem was just a phone call away which was good to know. Outpatients were great in bandage change & I felt in safe hands. Superb hospital!

Sarum Road Hospital is fantastic from the reception staff, pre op care team and Mr Bailey the surgeon I saw. I was looked after from the very moment I went in and on the day I had my surgery every thing was explained to me. Thank you.

The whole team at Sarum Road whether they be nursing staff, porters, doctors, pharmacists, physio, catering staff or reception give the feeling that nothing is too much of a problem. There is no distinction in the way you are treated and everything is done in support of your healthy recovery. I have the highest regard and respect for all of them.

Seven weeks ago I had a total knee replacement operation in this hospital and I can only praise the pre op service, the in hospital care and also the post op physiotherapy which still continues. I was in the hospital for three nights and nothing was too much trouble for those who cared for me. Unsurprisingly the operation, I am 86, affected other aspects of the workings of my body and the hospital staff took this all on board and made sure I was not discharged until appropriate. A few days later I returned to the hospital for a day visit and successful check that all was going well. I gladly recommend Sarum Road Hospita.

I found the lack of doctors in the hospital very unsettling . Just having 1RMO on call is , in my view ,not enough . In general it felt more like a hotel , which I’m sure is the intention but I’ve had a lot of experience of surgery and hospitals and it seemed very strange not to have doctors and senior nursing staff around post surgery on the 24-48 hours . You see your surgeon very briefly each day and I’m sure that if there are problems it would be more but it doesn’t inspire confidence . I found the fact that there are no ICU facilities also worrying but I knew RHCH was 5 mins away! I wasn’t allowed a visit from my granddaughter who was 12 which I found really upsetting .

The care I received at Sarum Road Hospital was excellent. The staff looked after me really well and took the time to make sure I understood everything that was going to happen before, during and after the operation. I would definitely recommend Sarum Road to other people considering having treatment there.
