Dr. Gnanachandran had done a laproscopic surgery and diagnosed me. He was always very willing to answer questions and ensure that I was comfortable and happy at all times, yet had been incredibly professional.

Mr Gnanachandran cared for my mum during a very worrying time. He was excellent at communicating with my mum and the whole family. She was put at ease and felt confident in him and his team. As family members, we found him to be extremely approachable and responsive to our questions and concerns. The care she has received has been exemplary.

Dr Gnanachandran was really patient and explained everything very well. He diagnosed the endometriosis really quick and we proceeded with surgery , before that we talked all the option and gave me full support in my decision. He did a great surgery and my recovery was great . I definitely recommend Dr Gnanachandran he is one of the best specialists.

Mr Gnanachandran, Consultant Gynaecologist,
Graduated from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka (2002)
NHS training programme in 2004.
In 2005, he started obstetrics and gynaecology training, working in several hospitals throughout the West Midlands and Wales, completing training in multiple different aspects of gynaecology including ultrasound scan and laparoscopic surgery for patients with subfertility, endometriosis, fibroids and early gynaecology malignancies.
In 2016 he was appointed as a consultant at Northampton General Hospital to develop fertility services and gynaecology rapid access care service provision.
In his current post, he leads fertility, emergency gynaecology services and gynaecology rapid access care (suspected cancer 2ww pathway) dealing with patients suspected of having cancer.
His main interest is to help patients avoid unnecessary interventions and to allow them to access appropriate early surgery when needed.
