I was very nervous about surgery, having had terrible experiences in the past 18 months, ( not at Peterborough hospital ). I cannot praise Mr Ramsey and his team enough. From my first pre-operation assessment my questions were answered fully and I understood everything. Every member of staff that I met, proved to be courteous and helpful and kind. The hospital ward was super clean . Before the operation the Anesthetist was especially attentive to my concerns from my previous experience. I would like to thank him. Mr Ramsey was excellent; I say this because I can compare with my recent encounters with surgeons. Mr Ramsey is a good communicator and listener. The surgery went very well, recovery was swift. A week later I was walking the dog, two weeks later I was feeling fantastic. There was no need for painkillers after four days. It's now six weeks after the operation and I'm running again and am so glad that this was offered to me, I feel a new woman. No scars either ! I thoroughly recommend Mr Ramsey.

Mr Ramsay created a good rapport and put me at my ease by giving me full information about my condition, which was clear and precise. He remained interested and concerned about my recovery and well being throughout. It was clear to me that Mr Ramsay is passionate about his role and truly cares about his patients. I felt very well supported under his care.

Great Consultant; actually had a sense of humour! Listened to what I said; got a date for my op (gynae) pretty quickly. Jovial and kept me calm before surgery. Gave me great confidence in his ability as a surgeon.
