Surgeon's of Mr Gooding's calibre and character are rare. Caring, efficient, articulate, assured. Quiet authority and professionalism in theatre with excellent interpersonal skills that inspired confidence. Mr Gooding worked with the excellent anaesthetist Dr Townsley who was equally impressive. A great team all round.

I am Mr Gooding's Medical Secretary. From my point of view, he is great to work for, very approachable, gives me the information I need, and helps me do my job! He is also very caring and considerate to his patients, and a total expert in his field. The patients cannot speak more highly of him.
