Dr. Asif Parker is an amazing doctor, who is extremely knowledgeable in his medical field of knee problems. I felt his expertise and compassion, and dedication to patients are unparalleled. Not only did Dr. Parker provide me with top-notch medical care, but he also took the time to listen to my concerns and address them with empathy and understanding. His thorough explanations of the medical issues made me feel confident and informed throughout the entire treatment process of my knees over the appointments I have had with him. Thanks to Dr. Parker, I now do not take pain killers for the knee issue I have. I cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone in need of medical care of any knee problems. If you're looking for a doctor who truly cares about his patients and delivers outstanding results, look no further than Dr. Parker!

I like to appreciate Mr Parkar for a very magnificent work done on my knee. He did partial knee replacement on my left knee and it took away the massive pain I was going through. There's no scares. He treated me professionally, had empathy and listens to my complaints. I would recommend him highly to any patient with a similar condition

At my initial consultation, after scans and thorough examination, I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Mr Parker took time to explain all the options available to me. We decided that uni-compartmental knee replacement was the best option. Throughout the process, I was kept fully informed, the procedure went well and I was up on my feet the same day. With advice from the physio and regular exercise, I was back to work in 6 weeks and can now walk without the awful pain I had previously. I also have full movement in the joint and feel fitter than ever. Mr Parker was excellent, I didn’t think it possible to get this level of treatment on the nhs.

Absolutely brilliant is the main statement. From the start Mr Parkar was supportive. It was a shock that I needed knee replacements. I was thinking that a steroid injection might be needed. But, when he showed me the X-rays and discussed the implications then I knew that it had to be done. The procedure July 2022 (on my right knee) was excellently executed. I remembered his words in the postoperative meeting “It went well”. “We have completed our work,. It is now your turn to contribute by participating effectively in the rehabilitation programme of physiotherapy and well-practiced movement”. What amazed me was that I was walking in a week and able to drive within four weeks. In part that was my contribution, but the surgical procedure must have been excellent to enable me to make that progress. I would recommend Mr Parkar wholeheartedly. In fact, I’m about to embark on knee operation number two on my left knee June 2024. The new right knee is working perfectly enough for me. OK, it is not going to be the knee I had in my 20s and 30s,. but, I have all the functionality I need. I can even kneel on it. People told me I wouldn't be able to. Mr Parker said it can be done using support surfaces or coverings. He is right. I can kneel without any discomfort on the new right knee. Much better than my left knee (which is yet to be done). Yes, I know and can feel something different and there is numbness on the right hand side of the knee. but I can kneel on it better than my left knee. I was terrified going into the first (ever) operation I have had on the right knee and will not be going in for the second left knee. If the second operation goes as well as the first then I will be well pleased.
