I found Mr Pay and his nurses very professional. They took the time to explain the procedure to me and kept me reassured during it, making conversation and checking I was ok.

Mr Pay, was fantastic in the way he explained everything to me in English not Gibberish, He talked me through all the steps of my procedures and all the possible outcomes.
He personally phone my wife to tell her I was out of surgery and all was well.
I felt that Mr Pay really cared about me and made sure I understood what was happening and why. He gave me great confidence and a belief in myself that all would be well. His attention to detail in the post op appointments and warm friendly bedside manner has kept me assured that if any thing does slip then he will be there to catch me and push me back up. I have no hesitation at all in highly recommending this wonderful man.

There is no room for improvement here - Mr Paye is a leader in his game. Professional in every way and with an extremely caring manner you would think you were his only patient. I feel totally confident in his diagnosis and treatment. After my initial surgery we found things had spread and he dealt with the problem immediately, put me at ease and the after care has also been exemplary. A scar I thought would look like the remnants of a shark bite has now disappeared. I am very grateful that I was placed in his care.

Mr Pay treated my son who has ASD and is very anxious. Mr Pay understood my son’s needs straightaway and was able to explain clearly the procedure, plus answer numerous questions from him. He made us feel at ease and we are grateful that my son’s first hospital visit was a positive one.

I am a senior Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in the management of all types of skin cancer. I work within the NHS at Oxford and Reading but also in the private sector based from The Forbury Clinic, Reading.
I deal with localised straight forward lesions and complex metastatic disease. I have over 20 years of experience in the specialty having trained mainly in the UK, but also in New Zealand and Australia in this field. I work closely with colleagues from other specialties to achieve the best balanced care for patients with this condition. I am a member of the Thames Valley Skin Cancer Network advisory team for the management of Skin Cancer. I regularly lecture to Patient groups on Self surveillance and sun protection with respect to the diagnosis of Melanoma. I am a member of the National Group; Melanoma Focus.
