I had surgery two years ago and did my research when selecting the doctor I wanted to go with. I have to say, everything that I read about Nikki was correct and was reassured once I met her for my initial consultation. The incision was to be on my forehead so very visible and she immediately put me at ease and on the day of the procedure, it all went just as she had described. Two years on, and the scar is barely noticeable - it's just taken me that long to write the review - but it healed very nicely fairly soon after. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

I had a fantastic experience with Nicola Petrie from The very beginning. I was nervous for my initial consultation but instantly felt at ease and spent nearly 3 hours chatting about different options and getting to know all the details. I really felt she was trying to know me on a personal level and this care continued all the way up to the operation and after! I always felt comfortable and in great care at every stage, and really felt she had my best interests at heart. I would instantly recommend her to anyone.

I cannot recommend Miss Petrie highly enough. After being diagnosed with breast cancer and the BRCA gene in 2017, I was contemplating breast surgery and reconstruction. She answered all my questions and concerns, and talked me through the procedure in clear, understandable terms, helping me to explore all options. She was professional, approachable, always putting me at ease, and always giving me plenty of time to consider the options and ask even more questions. After chemo and radiotherapy I had the double mastectomy and immediate breast reconstruction (MS-Tram, using my belly fat), in April 2018. I had total confidence in her and her team every step of the way, before the op, recovery in hospital and for all the post-surgery appointments too. She later performed nipple reconstruction which I’m happy with, and tidied up my tummy scars which are just amazing; with her advice on massage and creams to use, they have healed beautifully and I’ve been able to return to my sports and hobbies. I’m 100% happy with the service she and her amazing team have provided, and I’m thankful and grateful to have had her as my surgeon. She is without fault and I would have no hesitation to recommend her.

I was referred to Nicola Petrie when I found out I had the brca 1 gene. I had previously had breast cancer with chemotherapy and radiotherapy and was still in rather a fragile state of mind. Nicola reassured me and put me at ease on our first consultation and explained in detail the option that I had chosen for a double mastectomy and reconstruction. She told me about the Maggie center in Oxford where other women met who had been though similar/various procedures and at this evening she explained again in full detail, with a great deal of patience the procedure we would undertake. This evening helped immensely, talking to people in an informal setting who had been through similar procedures. Nicola Petrie and other staff gave up their time voluntarily for this evening to which I was personally very grateful. The procedure I had was flap reconstruction which was a gruelling operation and recovery. The operation was faultless and the after care outstanding. I had regular appointments with Nicola Petrie and she was, as ever patient and caring. Some months after I had the nipple reconstruction and a slight alteration to the shape of my breasts. This was again completed after consultation with Nicola Petrie who helped and guided me with decisions giving me all options available to me. I cannot thank Nicola and her team enough, they made a really difficult time much more bearable and were there for me from beginning to end with great results. A thank you seems inadequate but it is heartfelt. Sincerely, thank you Warmest wishes and kind regards to everyone Helen Adams
