My daughter was only 10 months old when emitted and from day one I felt my child was being cared for and I was kept informed at all times. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Aly, from his duty of care to my daughter to instantly commanding our trust with his warm demeanour. He kept us informed pre and posts surgery, and he never may us feel answering our queries was a chore. Dr Aly is an asset to the NHS.

My 11 year old son had an operation on an undescended testicle. Mr Shalaby had a reassuring, calm and professional manner which prevented my son from feeling embarrassed. We were both well-informed about what exactly the procedure would involve, and Mr Shalaby spoke to us before and after the operation. We felt we were in very good hands. Thank you.

My 6 year old son was operated on by Dr Shalaby in an emergency appendectomy. My first interaction with Dr Shalaby was his explanation post operation where he clearly explained the procedure, the specific issues associated with my son's condition, what I could expect in terms of recovery. From our fist encounter I had total confidence in his ability, judgement and his bedside manner was of the highest standard. He was extremely considerate in answering numerous follow questions and then repeating the answers for my wife. I would highly recommend Dr Shalaby.

My 7 yo son was admitted for a hydrocele surgery under the care of Mr Shalaby at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. We were very impressed with Mr Shalaby, his colleague surgeon and the entire nursing staff of the paediatric department. Every single step was explained to us and again to my son to make sure that we were at ease with the process. We met a member of each team prior to the procedure: the surgeons, the anesthesiologist and the main nurse. The surgery itself was very well executed and left a minor scar. I couldn't praise the nurses in the recovery room enough, all of them were kind, patient and professional. All and all a fantastic experience at Chelsea and Westminster hospital. Thank you Mr Shalaby!
