I have worked with Aly for the past six months on a busy surgical ward caring for children of many ages pre and post operatively. Aly is approachable and listens to any concerns/problems/ you have regarding a sick or unwell patient. He will come to review if there are concerns and set a clear plan of what he would like the nursing staff to do. Aly is professional but has a friendly personality which helps in difficult times for families and I have observed him talking to families in an easy to understand manner. I have also been present when he discusses aspects of care/ medical terminology/diagnosis with junior doctors and nurses and explains things to them at their level.

Aly is always willing to listen to the nurses point of veiw, and willing to review any patient and answer their questions
