I consider Dr. Hotouras to be a consummate professional.
I went to Whipps Cross for an endoscopy and Dr. Hotouras took great pains to explain the procedure and put me at my ease.
He comes across as a kind and caring individual and my procedure went very smoothly.
Dr. Hotouras went the extra mile to send a letter to my GP to outline further tests he deemed necessary, to save me the aggravation of dealing with the issue myself.
In the short time that i was in his care, i could see that he was excellent at his job and an asset to his profession.

Everyone was lovely and made me feel comfortable and well informed throughout the procedure. They did all the essential checks and answered the million and one questions I had. They explained everything to me in a kind, empathetic, compassionate and professional manner. I could not have asked for better care as they took excellent care of me. I was really anxious and worried about the procedure and they made it so easy for me and made the procedure go smoothly as they informed me what was happening every step of the way. I’m very happy.

Excellent Doctor had colonoscopy. Made me feel very much at ease on a stressful time.
assured me and answered all my questions in detail made me feel well cared for.
assured me I could contact him later if any questions came to mind later .
Was pleased he had such a caring attitude but with knowledge.
I must mention the nurses wher ver attentive lent me phone charger made me great coffee.

It’s a pleasure and honour to write this review. I barely waited to be checked in at the reception desk of the Day Treatment Clinic Endoscopy Department of the Whittington Hospital for an early morning appointment for my scheduled Colonoscopy appointment. I was greeted by a lovely kind nurse and after some preliminary tests was gowned up ready and taken through to meet Mr Alex Hotouras who explained to me the procedure and risks. I opted for sedation. I was so admirably looked after by two of the sweetest nurses Joyette Wenceslas and Teresita Vincenti. Mr Alex Hotouras kept me informed and reassured throughout this procedure, a true compassionate professional, I highly recommend him. PS: I must mention the cuppa and biscuit offered to me in the recovery room was very welcome!
