In a word exceptional ! I don’t really need to say anymore…. He was extremely helpful from the my first appointment, through the surgery and on my check up. His team were fantastic across all the work disciplines within both hospitals. I would highly recommend Cleveland Clinic. The only negative is private health companies…. The issues of not agreeing to pay!!. I had waited for 3 months for robotic keyhole (which was agreed) to be informed I was having the Operation via the traditional method on the day of surgery. This in no way was the blame of Cleveland Clinic and Mr Imber fully explained the situation and informed me that the traditional method was a better solution. That said it meant I could have received the treatment last year. Imagine if I had requested the keyhole on the day and it not been available? I would have been further delayed. I would suggest that if the issue of monies from certain companies is a problem then confirm that to the patient. I just want to emphasise once again my treatment was First Class.

Best decision I ever made meeting Mr Imber. He was able to offer a procedure that the NHS could not. The procedure has prolonged my life, absolutely priceless. If you hit a brick wall with the NHS, please ask for a referral to a private specialist.

My experience of Mr Imber was very good indeed. I met him on a Tuesday for a consultation. with surgery about 10 days later. He explained the procedure and was certainly more relaxed in the hospital where he had a good bedside manner. I would recommend Mr Imber without hesitation.

Me Imber is an incredible surgeon who I feel so fortunate to have had as part of my medical team. He not only is top of his game, but empathetic, kind and I know he works so hard to provide the best outcome for me. Thank you so much Mr Imber for everything you have done to help me on my road to recovery.

The care I received from Mr Imber and the surgical team was outstanding. At every stage, I felt confident I’d done my research well in selecting Mr Imber as my consultant. He clearly seemed to be someone at the top of his game, which was important to me as someone who is extremely anxious in any medical situation. On meeting him, I felt confident he would be the right consultant for the job (removing my gallbladder). Not only was he exceptionally well qualified, professionally, he was also extremely sensitive to my personal needs and was expert in managing my anxiety. I am so pleased to have made the decision for self-pay private care, on this occasion; I could not be happier with the experience I received from Mr Imber and the surgical team.
