I arrived at the hand clinic feeling very apprehensive, I did not feel that my problem could be resolved, over the last twenty years I have asked several GP’s for help and the replies have always been negative.
I cannot tell how I felt when Miss Nunez treated my concern seriously, she explained my options on how to deal with my dupuytren’s contracture. My repair was dealt with there and then with gentle care. I was then seen by an OT for an overnight splint.
I was seen on time.
I was treated swiftly.
I was treated with great courtesy.
I left the hospital within an an hour.
This was the NHS at its best,

I have visit Ms Nuñez on a number of occasions and in each instance have found her very easy to talk to and her professionalism in making everything very understandable regarding my ailments. She is always there to offer a friendly word and is genuinely interested in putting pain right. In fact she will always go the extra mile to make it better.
No negatives.

Miss Nunez was highly professional. She was very welcoming and easy to talk to and I felt very relaxed on each appointment.
I had a couple of options to help improve my hand and along with her advice and confidence we went with the correct option as my hand is recovering really well and on the road to fully recovering.
I would highly recommend Miss Nunez!

Following my first referral to Miss Nunez, it was suggested that instead of full surgery for my Dupuytren's Syndrome on my right hand, I opt for needle facieotomy. This was carried out today and I was extremely happy with the way it was conducted and the care and advice I was given throughout the procedure. Obviously, time will tell as to the full success of this, but as already stated, I was extremely happy with all aspects from initial referral to the procedure.

I was seen by Miss Nunez in May she was very friendly and made me feel hopeful that some thing could be done to help my situation (wrist pain} I had wrist Neurectomy 2 weeks ago had dressing removed yesterday already am felling much better about the future hope to get right wrist done in the new year. I am very pleased with this doctor and would highly recommend her.

Miss Nuñez is a Consultant Orthopaedic Hand and Wrist Surgeon with expertise in the management of all aspects of hand and wrist disorders and injuries.
She completed her specialist surgical orthopaedic training on the South West London rotation after which she completed three sub-specialty plastic surgery Hand Fellowships @ The Hand Clinic, Windsor, St George's Hospital and The Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead.
She has published a number of papers in peer reviewed journals and presented at international meetings in Europe and abroad.
She is a keen educator and has travelled internationally to establish sub specialty training and educational courses in El Salvador and Sudan.
She was elected as Chairman of the Hand & Wrist Faculty of the AOUK Trauma society in 2014, and is an invited International member of the Hand Expert Group of the AOTK Trauma Foundation based in Switzerland since 2016.
