Miss Valerie Nunez

Ms Nuñez is a delightful lady who combines professionalism with approachability. She listens and she explains carefully and, importantly, she sets expectations so that you understand exactly what is ahead. I have had a trapeziectomy on both of my hands and both have been 100% successful, I am now pain free. I should add, her secretary, Gemma, is a great member of the team, kind understanding and never too busy to help. I recommend Ms Nuñez very highly.

I had a wrist arthroscopy in August 2022 after having a ganglion cyst and torn tendon for quite so time. The turnaround time prior to surgery was great, the secretary Gemma was contactable and responded quickly, always on hand to help! Ms Nunez herself is informative and takes the time to talk to you, she has a friendly manner and instantly put me at ease on my first appointment. Mainly she is experienced with 20 years +, which was a massive bonus for me. The procedure itself went well. I'm 5 weeks post recovery and have minimal scarring. I would recommend Ms Nunez to anyone

Oct 2020: I bumped my little finger on my left hand and immediately a lump formed. Oct 2021: The lump was the size of a marble. Dec 2021: I had an ultrasound and it was determined that the lump was likely a benign giant cell tumour. Jan 2022: I was referred to Miss Nunez. June 2022: The lump had now extended over and under my finger, causing a lot of discomfort. June 2022: I was booked into day surgery, my first ever surgery, and the lump was removed. July and Aug 2022: 2 x post op follow-ups. A super experience from start to finish. At every appointment: pre op, surgery and post op, Miss Nunez was lovely to speak with, she was very caring and gave her honest opinion. She has a wonderful warm manner which immediately puts one at ease. She is super smart, very knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. A fabulous surgeon, highly recommended.

I went to Ms Nunez after having an awful experience with another Specialist which had left me in pain. Ms Nunez immediately made me feel at ease, explained everything very clearly and since my surgery has been an amazing support in my recovery. She then clearly explained the two options for follow up treatment. She gave me her secretary’s phone number and said to call her to say which treatment I wanted after discussing the options with my husband. Such a great communicator which makes a huge difference when you’re in a worried state.

Having been threatened with a dermofasciectomy to my right IP joint including a skin graft, it was a huge relief to hear from Ms Nunez that I would be suitable for an outpatient procedure lasting probably 10 minutes. Minimum pain and little finger fully extended within a couple of degrees! I am so thrilled. No further treatment for the time being and normal life resumed. I could not be happier. Thank you so much

Miss Nunez is genuinely caring and a great communicator. A first class surgeon delivering excellent outcomes. Wound closure is so well done, the scar can barely be seen.
