I first went to see Sascha in April 2016. She is extremely personable and made me feel at ease about a sensitive issue. She gave me information to read and think about ahead of making the decision to go ahead, and also listened to what I was hoping to achieve, which was a completely different experience to another surgeon I approached. I had three pre-surgery consultations in total with Sascha as well as a health check at the hospital, which made me feel more comfortable about undergoing major surgery. She took the time to find out about my personal situation and support network to make sure I was fit for surgery and would be prepared for recovery. She was also very honest about what I should expect post-surgery. Having undergone the operation in October 2016, I am so pleased with the results and continuing aftercare. For an issue which has affected me for more than ten years, she didn't trivialise it and gave me confidence a solution was possible. I have no regrets at all about going ahead and would definitely recommend Sascha to others.

My name is Sharon Sansom, I first met Miss Sasha Due on the 12th of January 2015 when she explained my diagnosis. As I expect not many woman or men process what they are being told, as in my case I felt I had been hit by a train.! Miss Dua put me at ease by explaining in great depth what was going to happen with a clear medical package I could understand, go home and digest. She also included my husband Martyn and answered all his questions and concerns with empathy. At that time I imagined I could handle this illness alone and seemed to be shutting loved ones out. Miss Dua seemed to understand all my anxieties and worries, and I'm 100% sure she must have heard the same questions from many of her patients. If you are unfortunately diagnosed with this devastating condition, I honestly couldn't have had a more professional and experienced surgeon caring for me, she makes each and every patient feel like her only one. My husband and I can't express how grateful we are to her and all the medical staff in her team and every other department in Broomfield that were part of my treatment and on going treatment. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. The NHS is a national treasure and all those who work and contribute to it.

Sasha was lovely from the first time I met her at diagnosis. She was good at explaining what was going on at each appointment and made me feel confident about the surgery I was having.

I found Miss Dua to be very caring and understanding. She gave me all the time I needed to digest the news of my diagnosis and answer any questions I had. She was patient, attentive, honest and kind. She explained everything in a manner that was easily understood. She also has a very good sense of humour.

From the moment my husband and I walked into Sascha's office we felt confident that we had made the right choice of surgeon. She was friendly, confident about what she knew needed to be done for me and very professional. She explained everything in detail and understood that there was a lot to take in so she never minded when we asked the same questions more than once. She was also both optimistic and realistic in the right measures. Thank you Sascha
