Ms. Samantha Williams is a very kind, empathetic professional lady with a very good bedside manner. She listens to her patients with great patience she never gave me the impression I was asking silly questions (although I probably was!) I did not feel rushed and was able to ask all that I needed to. Her work as a surgeon is amazing she has worked wonders with my breast surgery, giving me back the confidence I needed to carry on after my cancer journey. She goes beyond her remit to help. I can not speak more highly of her. She is a credit to her profession and Great Western Hospital are very lucky to have such a dedicated person. If all the doctors in the NHS were like Sam then nobody could have cause for complaint.

I had a telephone appointment with Ms Samantha Williams to discuss changing medication following an operation 3 years ago. Ms Williams was professional, caring and friendly, she listened and discussed the side effects from my current medication. She discussed my operation and the prognosis, reviewed the length of time I'd be taking the meds for and booked a bone density scan. Confirmation by letter arrived quickly, she fast tracked my change of meds and sent a booklet about them. I was extremely happy with the call.

An amazing consultant who made me feel at ease from our very first meeting, she was completely approachable and empathetic. I genuinely felt she was invested in my care and outcome, for me that was very important during an uncertain time. She clearly explained everything before, during and after my treatment and no question seemed too much trouble/trivial or that you were being rushed. My recovery, outcome and prognosis has been and is very good and she was massively instrumental in that, thank you.
