Miss Natasha Wielogorska

I met Natasha prior to my elective breast Reconstruction surgery following breast cancer and mastectomy in 2018. I was immediately comfortable with Natasha as you could quite clearly see that she truly cared for her patients. Natasha along with Mr Ekwobi listened to my fears and concerns and was also present when the decision to proceed with no CT scan was made. Natasha came to see me on the day of my surgery and talked in depth about what I was to be going through, and what I was to expect when waking up. She also went into depth about complications ensuring I was fully aware, could make that informed decision to consent to the procedure, and answered every question I had. After my surgery, Natasha came to see me regularly and also has been coming to see me during the regular dressing clinic appointments I have had to have due to some wound complications. Natasha is calm, softly spoken with an exceptional bedside manner. I can honestly say she is a superstar. Natasha is a credit to the NHS and I will forever be thankful for everything she has done and continues to do for me (same sentiments to Mr Ekwobi and the rest of their surgical team). If anyone was to have Natasha looking after them, they are incredibly lucky and in extremely good hands.

Dr. Wielogorska's caring, thorough and patient approach is very reassuring when one is concerned about melanomas spreading. She always takes that extra personal trouble to find solutions, thinking laterally, too, to ensure that she has considered every possibility. She seems to have the qualities both of a good team member and of a great potential team leader. Her patients can be sure that they get the very best treatment and support. Thank you, Natasha!

I am a nurse of 37 years. I have had the pleasure to work with Dr Wielogorska over the last few months. She is a pleasure to work with, she embraces all the qualities that would be desired by any Doctor. She is patient, kind and has excellent communications skills. She is thorough in all her work and takes pride in high level of service she delivers. As a result I love to work in her clinics. Natasha makes all her patients feel listed to, often at a very worrying time in their lives. She is able to put across information to the patient in a way that is easily understood and takes considerable time to ensure the patient leaves her consultations with all the information they need and their questions have been fully answered. I know this is valued by the patients and their families through the verbal feed back they give me on leaving Dr. Wielogorska's consultation. As a colleague, Natasha is someone who the team all look forward to working with. She is approachable and as such I feel I can ask her anything, as a new member of the team here, learning a new role. If I ever need to see a Plastics doctor, I hope I could see Dr Wielogorska. If not someone who has all her qualities.

I have just had the best consulltation follow up for plastic surgery on my nose & the removal of a melanoma from my thigh 2 years ago! She was very thorough and explained much more carefully how I should be checking myself. At the same time as giving me confidence medically I felt she is a very nice, approachable person.

Natasha carried out surgery on my left hand with acid burns. She explained the process and procedures very clearly and thoroughly. Explained in detail what she was going to do.once in the operating theatre, Natasha and her team looked after me superbly. Kept talking to me and reassuring me at the same time. Surgery on my hand was a success. Natasha and her team a credit to the profession and NHS.. highly recommended. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN.
