I had an appointment with Miss Katy Ammar concerning the discovery of a large cyst on my left ovary. She could not have been more professional and understanding of how I felt about the situation. She explained fully her plan to analyse the cyst and she organised my appointments extremely rapidly. She maintained close contact with me to give me the results of the scans and MRI in my pelvis and then gave me a number of options to solve the problem. Through discussion with her the decision was made to have a laparoscopy at the first opportunity in January to remove both cyst and ovary. I felt that Miss Ammar was genuinely concerned about her patients, and her organised and efficient presence created a very calm atmosphere.

Dr. Katy Ammar is an exemplary medical professional who understands the nuance of explaining everything clearly to a patient and building up a rapourt. On her day of during a global pandemic she went to check on my results, she did not have to do this. She isn't just a good doctor she is also an ethical and supportive medical professional. I was very anxious for my procedure however i felt totally respected, listened to and supported throughout. I would not see anyone else for any OBGYN issue after having found a doctor who is both proffesional and compassionate.

(I had a procedure done today by Katy Ammar And what a difference in experience !!!as had a operation in March By a different gynaecologist over lockdown and was very anxious as it was very quick under the 2 week rule , biopsy s were missed before op , so even more anxious
