i have recently had an abdominal hysterectomy with Dr Ammar as my consultant. the care i have been given has been fantastic , the operation was done in August and i have fully recovered very quickly and feel full of energy. i would reccomment Dr Ammar totally. the nursing staff were also very caring and supportive.

I had an amazing experience with this doctor and I felt like I was listened to and explained to everything very well. She made a lot of effort and provided me with great care, more that I even expected. I am very thankful to Dr Ammar.

Dr Ammar was clear in her explanations of the proceedures that she was going to carry out and gave me plenty of time to ask questions.She has a delightful bedside manner! After surgery she visited the ward twice each day to monitor my progress and explain steps of aftercare--I felt very well looked after indeed.

Dr Ammar knew how worried I was about the surgery I had had to have with my first baby and was concerned that I should not have to have the same when I recently had my third baby. She took time to explain why she thought I should not proceed with the surgery and visited me several times after I left the labour ward to check on me and to make sure I was recovering well. She took a chance in over-ruling her colleague but she believes that treating the patient and listening to their concerns is vital to a good outcome and I am glad that she did. She was lovely and helpful and helped me achieve the outcome I wanted after my third baby (as did all the other staff at the Epsom Maternity Unit). Thank you.

Katy introduced herself in a very friendly manner. She instilled great confidence when explaining the procedure to be undertaken. An excellent rapport was maintained throughout my stay. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this doctor. I look forward to seeing her again at my follow up appointment.
