She is ok. When i see her with my mum she is always abrupt. She seems to know what she is talking about but doesnt explain well. She doesnt like being questioned.
Hello. Thank you for your time to leave the review and I am sorry to hear that you found the consultation less than satisfactory. I always endeavour to avoid medical jargon and explain using simple terms and invite queries however if it has not met your expectation please do not hesitate to contact me via my secretary to make a further appointment and I am more than happy to go through your mothers case with her permission in detail and answer any further queries you may have.
The Dr presented as extremely reassuring, knowledgeable and compassionate. I was instantly put at ease and confident in the planned treatment she proposed for me. Any questions, concerns or queries I had she addressed in such a manner that even those which now appear minor she answered with consideration and understanding of my rationale. I arrived with trepidation and concerns as to what lay ahead of me but after this consultation I am confident indeed certain that I could not have better capable and experienced care than I am to receive. I feel now I am confident and will be able to fully recover and continue my family life.
I have been under Dr Yahya’s care for over 5 years and I have to say she is one of the best consultants I have seen and as I have been fighting breast cancer for 29 years I have some experience. Not only does she listen to you she makes you feel like she has all day to chat to you ,never rushed although I’m sure she has a great number of patients to see. She makes me feel special and has gone out of her way to make sure I’m on the right medication not hesitating to change it if she feels she can do better with another type. She constantly keeps on top of my treatment and I have complete and utter trust in her judgement.
If she has to deliver negative news she does it in a way that it ends with a positive solution, equally if the news is good she is happy with you.
I can’t add suggestions as to how she could improve as for me she is a great listener, sympathetic if needed but above all positive about treating me the best way she can.
She’s a super consultant and I consider myself fortunate to be under her care.
Thank you for your kind words. Its all about team work and we are in it together to fight the cancer. Hoping to continue to keep your journey filled with positive experiences.
She looked after my Mom.
She didn't listen to her and the problems she had. Mom kept getting admitted
Hello, I am sorry for your experience but with limited details provided I am very keen to listen to you in detail. I always endeavour best for my patients but if you feel I fell short in any aspect of delivering care to your mother, you are very welcome to please arrange an appointment via my secretary to see me along with your mother so was can go through the events for greater clarity for your and my understanding. Many thanks
She listens to me and my concerns and so far she has been extremely proactive with my oncology care. She is always welcoming, cheerful and is sympathetic.
