I had surgery at the priory last week and stayed in for two nights. The staff were extremely friendly from the theatre staff, the nurses, Heathcare assistants, a lovely lady would come and tidy my room and chat to me, think it was Kim?? The catering staff were always there for you. I was under Professor Justin Clark. He was very professional. I was pertified but he made me feel comfortable and I could tell it was a very routine operation to him. Can't thank him enough. I felt so poorly before the operation. I'm 8 days post surgery and feel so much better already. I can't remember my anaesthetists(sorry) but he was so kind and just cracked on with it and his amazing team around him. The one nurse was really on it when they were giving me the general anesthetic and I felt so safe. Thank you to all for your care and making me better. Johanna Partridge

Do not use this service. I regret paying for surgery at this hospital, and wish I had cancelled and gone elsewhere. The surgeon and anaesthetists at both pre-op and on the day) were highly dismissive of any concerns or questions I had, and I had no say in my treatment. Prior to and on the day of surgery I had no idea of what was going to happen. As a female, I attempted to advocate for myself multiple times at appointments and in the hospital to no avail. I was left distressed and it took for my male partner to advocate for me for anything to change, but even then the change was the bare minimum-I was made to feel like a problem, and have suffered ongoing health issues as a result. This is a real shame as there are a few of the nurses whom were great, but the actions of the surgeon and anaesthetists, overshadow this. A formal complaint was made, and they admitted fault, but the responses from the senior members of staff involved as well as the senior staff running the hospital was abysmal.

At my pre op assessment all the staff were kind and helpful especially Penny,Angie and the ecg lady whose name I didn’t catch and the lady on the desk. They were all happy and cheerful and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you

The staff at this hospital are second to none, they are all friendly and welcoming even down to the catering staff. The hospital is very clean and comfortable including waiting areas, toilets, wards and the entrances. I would not hesitate to be treated again at this hospital and would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

From reading the last review I feel no one has really wrote honest reviews and should share my concerns . Also on behalf of others who have had treatment at the priory both through the NHS or Privately. The nurses and consultants are good and the care from the nurses is good. Though it is difficult to contact the consultants. Dr Baghdadi provides his number which is really nice it shows he cares about his patients when they need him . But others are hard to reach and everything is dealt by with the nurses. Many of us who have had treatment at the priory are abit concerned about our final embryo numbers . We start off with a good number of fertilised eggs but end up with only 20-30 percent of embryos . From speaking to others who have had treatment at this clinic it is abit alarming that we are all obtaining similar numbers and they happen to discard BC embryos which potentially might have a chance. Just a little skeptical about the reoccurrence in low embryo numbers despite having a good number to start off with . Im not entirely sure if this is a lab issue. But it does need to be looked into .

Hospital was spotless and very efficient. Slight mix up in communication at times but rectified quickly. Felt safe and cared for, my only observation was that if you are a late daycase, you could do with a little more recovery time before leaving. Feedback and follow up was excellent.

I had surgery with Dr. Jeve, and he was really good at explaining things, giving advice, and taking care of me. I'm happy I chose him for my surgery. The people at Prior Hospital were nice and made sure I understood everything. I feel like they took good care of me. I highly recommend Dr. Jeve and his team.
