1st June 2016

When I was first referred to Mr. Krishnan, I was sceptical due to previous misdiagnosis with other doctors and scan . Mr Krishnan put me at ease from the word go. He really listened to me and was able to diagnose my injury (torn meniscus cartilage with suspected ACL rupture) by asking me to do a range of gentle movements with my leg. He advised I have surgery to correct my injury and I will be eternally grateful that I listened to him. Before the surgery my knee was giving way on a daily basis and since my surgery (April 2016), 8 weeks on and my knee is stable, I can walk with ease and his follow up appointments reassure me that I'm making great progress and doing the right things. Mr Krishnan is a wonderful consultant with a very calm demeanour and I would (and have) recommended him to everyone that requires knee or hip surgery. Thank you Mr Shibu Krishnan for giving me such a gift!

Shibu Krishnan is amazingly kind and patient. His diagnosis was spot on, and I am delighted with my replacement hip. The arthritis pain has completely gone. I was hesitant to have this operation as I also have Parkinson's. As he knows my aim was to be able to return to doing my 6 mile country walks with the High Wycombe Ramblers. 7 weeks later I have no pain and I am gaining confidence day by day. I would have no hesitation to see Mr. Krishnan again and will tell anyone I know that this is the man to see.

I was assigned to Mr Krishnan as a NHS patient for a total knee joint replacement and was very pleased with his most professional approach. He thoroughly explained the procedure and the risks involved and put me completely at ease with the whole process. I am now some 8 weeks post operative and virtually back to work full time and now able to get on with activities without the nagging knee pain that I experienced before. I would completely recommend this Consultant and hope that he remains in the local area and is available in the next year or so to perform a similar procedure on my other knee joint.

Hi. A few weeks ago Mr Krishnan performed a hip replacement operation on my wife Margaret Longmore. We would both like to thank him and his staff at the Shelbourne Hospital High Wycombe for making her stay as comfortable as possible, and for the success of the surgery.

I am mildly embarrassed that it has taken me so long before making these comments. Dr Krishnan saw me on and off for about a year before operating on me for a new right hip on 21 November 2015. He always patiently listened to me and professionally advised me (the preamble was extended because I was given painkillers following an unrelated accident and these affected the symptoms). His operation on me left the smallest scar seen by the very busy nursing section of my local doctors. I am not a youngster but I was fit for discharge from High Wycombe Hospital 3 days after the operation. All in all I am mightily impressed and thankful for the skill of Dr Krishnan and for the personal interest he took in me
