Dr Lim communicated excellently, explaining test results and how they related to my physiology in an understandable and relatable manner. Despite a busy schedule, he never rushed through what could have been a standard consultation and made certain that any questions or concerns I may have had were expressed & addressed. He was thorough and careful, as well as practical, giving me confidence in his conclusions and decisions.

I had a Cardilogy appointment this morning and was so pleased that I had Dr Lim to take care of me as a Consultant Cardiologist..
Dr Lim not just assured me with my condition but also listened to my concerns regarding how I felt and never rushed me ....I just wished I had more time with him but, as usual nowadays, our specialists are under such pressure always.

Thank you so much for explaining me more than just treatment and for guiding me into how and when to switch off these nasty unpleasant thiughts which I have 24/7...

Dr. Boon Lim came highly recommended to me by his colleague at the Hammersmith Hospital. I was subsequently referred to him for treatment of heart arrhythmia. His qualifications and position at The Hammersmith gave me every confidence and I knew I wanted to be in his care. On my first consultation I was overwhelmed with his ability to relate to his patient and put one at ease. The procedure was fully explained. Dr. Lim is the most delightful and caring doctor and his kindness and care prevailed throughout two successful heart ablations. I am most grateful to have been in his care.

It was a pleasure to meet Dr Lim at Hammersmith Hospital on the 19th March, he's friendly and caring manner put me and my wife at ease, he answered all of our questions ,taking time to explain everything fully ,he showed true concern, he listen to all of our concerns.

Dr P Boon Lim is a cardiologist and electrophysiologist specialising in heart rhythm disturbances, pacing and syncope at Imperial College London. He performs ablation for atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, and implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators.
Dr Lim has a special interest in mapping and ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF), and is currently actively researching best techniques for modulating the autonomic nervous system to treat atrial fibrillation and vasovagal syncope. He also works closely with industry to develop the best techniques for treatment of atrial fibrillation and ventricular ectopy, and is highly skilled at using modern 3-D mapping technologies to treat these common arrhythmias.
Dr Lim also leads the Imperial Syncope Diagnostic Centre, a unit that performs approximately 700 tilt table tests per year, and is actively engaged in researching mechanisms of syncope and understanding best treatment strategies for patients with debilitating syncope or symptoms of postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). He runs a syncope clinic based in London at Hammersmith Hospital, providing expert care care and attention to patients who have difficult-to-treat blackouts or faints. Dr Lim participates actively in ongoing research trials focussing on developing the best management strategies for treatment of vasovagal syncope in is the principle investigator for several syncope trials. He is consistently rated highly by patients and colleagues as one of the top syncope doctors and cardiologists in London.
