I visited with Dr Palcovic a few days ago regarding his role as anaesthetist for my spinal operation this week. He was charming and understanding and covered all my issues in a confident and very pleasant manner, it was so nice to be able to communicate with him face to face the first occasion for a year with just consultations over the telephone. I feel very happy with his efforts to ensure that all would go well and for the addition of Enhanced Care as an extra safeguard. Thank you Dr Palcovic

I had been very unhappy and upset about the incompetence of the pre assessment procedure which caused my operation to be postponed while I was actually waiting to go to theatre. I was given an appointment with Dr Palcovic who listened and took on my concerns; he expatiated the necessary steps to correct the situation and by the following day I and the surgeon had a complete breakdown of my blood results and a letter deeming me fit for surgery.
