I’ve been back and forth to Southampton hospital from Jersey for the past 2 years and been seen by different Consultants for my condition. This morning I saw Dr Stammers and found that he really listened to me and understood what I was going through. I would certainly recommend him to other patients.

Absolutely fantastic appointment with Dr Stammers, he really listened to all of my issues and offered great advice going forward. I've had issues with some consultants at QA, so it was wonderful to speak to someone who actually seemed to care.

Dear DR Stammers, first of a big thank you for the amount of time you gave me. You made me feel like a patient in need of care and not another person on a list. You clearly knew what my symptoms and problems were and gave sound advice on reducing the risks, treatment and how to manage the problem on a day to day bases. Your understanding of my health problem was second to none. Having lived 27 years with the problem I have not dealt with a more knowledgeable Doctor or Specialist in that time. Didn't feel afraid to ask questions, felt very comfortable. Dr Stammers was caring understanding and answered all my questions even if it's not what you want to hear, but honesty is best. Dr Stammers also listened on matters that wasn't his field and suggested further tests. Great service at QA only one complaint in this department is the waiting time to be seen.
