Dr Stammers is absolutely excellent at his job and is a credit to the Gastroenterology department. I have been seeing him for a few years now and he is always so lovely kind and knowledgeable. Without a doubt one of the nicest most personable consultants I have ever met. He always listens to any concerns or worries I may have and is very reassuring. I have always felt incredibly safe in his hands. Excellent is an understatement for Dr Stammers!!

Dr Stammers is very understanding and listening. Even though my problem with daily nausea is not serious, it was very deliberating and causing low quality of life. He was happy to refer me to various tests and procedures to rule out certain diseases, which I am very grateful for. He was clear on the options available for me in terms of the medications and alternative therapies outside of NHS. For me it was very important that my worries were considered and I was heard, regardless of the importance of my illness in comparison to others. Dr Stammers is the best!

My consultation with Dr Stammers was fantastic. He listened to my questions and provided simple explanation that really helped my understanding. He has a very friendly nature which makes you feel at ease, and discusses all the treatment options with you openly. Would highly recommend him to friends and family
