Dr Jeremy Shearman

Dr Shearman listened to me, explained carefully my problems and treated me as an intelligent human being.

The joy and relief of being listened to, never rushed, never made to feel a nuisance is simply priceless. Dr Shearman is simply the best physician I have ever been treated by. His knowledge, care, easy manner and non-patronising explanations are exceptional and sadly, rare. I could not recommend him highly enough and I am extremely grateful to him.

Awareness of my deafness and patience whilst communicating. He explained about my condition very clear and excellent advice.

Dr Shearman actively involves me in my care and keeps me updates on my blood results so I am aware of my progress. He explained my condition extremely well, even providing drawings and diagrams to aid my understanding. He's very personable and clearly cares about the wellbeing of his patients.

This is the 3rd time I have seen Dr Shearman in the last few years, again I found him, patient, caring and ready to listen. He explained clearly with diagrams the concerns I had and I left the consultation feeling very optimistic. Thank you Dr Shearman.

What an amazing Doctor, he listened to me and i felt very safe with him. For the first time in 7 years i feel as though there may be light at the end of the tunnel. I have been on Antibiotics for all that time for UTIs. I ended up in Warwick Hospital Malin Ward for almost a month with Liver Failure and acute Jaundice. Mr Shearman came to see me on the ward and had a good long chat about everything. I really did not realise how ill i was. He is going to help me. No one has ever listened to me before, all they do is give me more and more Antibiotics, i'm sure my body cant take much more. I asked him to please not forget me, i have been forgotten and lost in the system before. He didn't forget me, what a Superstar Doctor, amazingly knowledgable.

Having been under another private consultant I saw Dr Shearman today at Warwick Hospital and had the most positive and informative half hour that i have had in months. Very kind, considerate and knowledgeable. Came away feeling better already.

What an amazing Doctor!! He truly knows so much he helped my mum at Warwick Hospital to diagnose her with autoimmune disease he was the only one that took the risk to start her on steroids after 5 weeks of other doctors not really coming up with any resolution and is now recovering very well. I go with my mum every month for a follow up with him and he is so caring and likes to sit down and agree a plan of action he considers your feelings and nothing is too much trouble. You can tell he is a very confident well educated man that I would trust and makes you feel welcome. He clearly knows his stuff a lot of experience and I am so grateful for the turn around he has helped with. I really don’t know what we will do when doctors like him retire!! Keep up the good work Mr Shearman!!

What a truly exceptional doctor. He embodies all aspects of optimum care: extensive experience, careful judgment, superb listening skills and a wealth of knowledge. His approach is comprehensive, methodical and intelligent, and he does not rely (as other doctors often do) on just statistics and stereotypes. His approach is collaborative and respectful, but he is very clear about the best way forward. I have been extremely anxious about the issue he is treating, but now I feel very reassured that I am in the best hands I could be. A previous review suggested that he didn't know enough about coeliac disease but I found him to be very well informed.

What a lovely, caring man Doctor Shearman is. He actually listened to me, was very sympathetic, explained how my bowel works, made sure I understood everything, and then explained my options. I now feel I have got some control and a follow up appointment is on the cards to discuss tests results. And Doctor Shearman explained in layman's language. I understood everything. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to everyone who needs care and attention. Doreen Brown
