I was very anxious about getting an IUD removed because the insertion was particularly painful/ I didn't feel like I was given much warning or advice around it. But with Dr Bano, the removal was swift and as painless as possible! She's experienced and very reassuring. Would absolutely recommend.

I am a consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a member of The British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). I am an accredited colposcopist and a trainer.
I have a wide range of expertise in all aspects of gynaecology providing high quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions including colposcopy, urogynaecology, vaginal surgery, menstrual disorders, contraception, menopause/HRT and pelvic pain. I have published widely within the obstetrics and gynaecology peer reviewed literature throughout my career and frequently present my work in international and national medical conferences.
I have a wide range of expertise in all aspects of gynaecology providing high quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions including Minimal access surgery (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures including out-patient hysteroscopies), colposcopy, vaginal surgery, prolapse repair/pelvic floor repair, menstrual disorders, contraception, menopause/HRT and pelvic pain.
