I attended Dr Fox's clinic following a period of Paroxysmal AF that had recently become persistent. Dr Fox was very approachable and we discussed the options available and their likely outcomes in clear, open language.
I subsequently elected to undergo a Catheter Ablation procedure which has proved successful in restoring me to normal sinus rhythm. Follow up reviews were informative and reassuring.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Fox to friends or colleagues suffering from similar cardiac issues.

I would certainly recommend Dr Fox. He always explained everything in detail and made sure that I understood what he was about to do. He also kepty me informed whilst carrying out the procedure and always put me at ease.
The procedure was a complete success and I hope I do not have to return but I would not hesitate to go back to him if needed.

Dr Fox has great personality and confidence. He is easy to chat to and creates a caring environment. I was in a 'dark' mental place when I first saw him on Thursday 4th April suffering from af and not well at all. Feeling totally ignored by the national health service, within 20 minutes my mood had completely altered and I not only had a date for my operation but was 'dancing inside'.
I cannot think of any more superlatives to describe Dr. Fox except to say that he is a brilliant doctor.

Dr David Fox is a highly experienced cardiologist/electrophysiologist in Manchester and has been a consultant for over 10 years.
He spent a period of his training at one of the worlds premier heart rhythm institutes (University of Western Ontario, Canada) working with pioneering cardiologist Professor George J Klein, the author of over 500 medical publications.
Dr Fox specialises in the treatment of all heart rhythm disorders and carries out over 220 ablation procedures annually and has a particular interest in atrial fibrillation ablation (pulmonary vein isolation). He also is fully trained in all aspects of pacemaker/ICD implantation.
He is the lead for cardiac rhythm services at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester and runs the annual audit program to ensure high levels of safety in and quality of the atrial fibrillation ablation program.
