I had a coccyxgectomy on the 11/06/2015 this was carried out by Almas Khan. Almas throughout my period leading up to my operation was extremally helpful and gave great advice on how to limit my pain that I had in my coccyx region. Almas carried out various cortisone injections around my coccyx whilst under general anaesthetic prior to my coccyxgectomy. Almas is a very friendly surgeon who has a great ability to deal with customers he has a great bedside manner and puts the client first, he was always professional, friendly, courteous, and kind. He answered questions in a way I could understand easily. Pre Op Almas explained everything that would happen to me, he went through the entire proceedure and what would happen after the op. The operation was a success recovery took longer than expected but this was due to me pushing too hard and not allowing myself to recover! When i went for my stitches out the nurses struggled to get them out without causing me serious pain, they call Almas to the outpaitients and like a true professional got stuck in and removed them in a blink of an eye with no pain whatsoever! I rate Almas highly and would not hesitate to to recomend him to anyone, I have dealt with a few surgeons over my life and Almas has been by far the best person to deal with. I would be quite happy for anyone to get in touch with me direct if they feel the need to ask anything further about Almas. I am now fully recovered, it took over 12 months but it was the best life changing decision I have made in my life, I am now pain free and this is all thanks to Almas Khan.
