Mr Dunsmuir operated on me for spinal stenosis. He listened carefully to my description of my symptoms, was very sympathetic, and explained the options open to me. Following an MRI scan he went through the scans with me, explaining what they showed. He took care to ensure that I understood the risks of surgery, and the 20% chance that it would not alleviate my condition. While I was in hospital for three days he visited me twice a day to check on my progress. The operation was successful, but because I had been unable to walk properly for several months before it I am not yet back to all my normal activities, and Mr Dunsmuir is continuing to manage my recovery. I thoroughly recommend him.

My teenage daughter is his patient. She has scoliosis and is having spinal surgery. He was very thorough with her explaining what is going to happen and really had an interest in her and any concerns she had. I trust him with the care of my daughter and highly recommend him.
