I would like to thank Dr Khan for the treatment of my idiopathic scoliosis and for performing my spinal fusion and thoracotamy at the LGI in February 2017. A sympathetic surgeon who takes the time to listen to your worries and makes you feel at ease. A massive thank you for giving me a better quality of life. At nearly 10 weeks post op, I can already feel and see the difference. Dr Khan has been great pre op and post op, addressing all questions asked and taking the time to go through the risks and benefits of surgery. My post op x rays last week showed a big difference and I am very pleased with the result of the surgery. I have no regrets and am grateful for the management of my condition by this surgeon. All in all a very kind, understanding and very competent surgeon in his field. Thank you Dr Khan and his team at LGI.

Mr Khan actively listened to my concerns, carried out a sympathetic examination then explained in simple terms what the causes of my pain could be. An x-ray and MRI enabled him to rule out possible causes, and recommend further ways to treat my pain. I found Mr Khan professional, an excellent listener and communicator, and was able explain his thoughts in a simple, practical and engaging way. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends and colleagues.

Mr Khan was an absolute professional from start to finish. He explained things very well and I felt he was working with me rather than managing me. One of the few Specialist I found to be very personable. Thank you Mr Khan you have really helped me.

Good level of care - Mr Khan did a great job of explaining the specific issues to me and pitched it at the right level for me to understand. He took time to make the impacts and decisions relevant to my personal situation. I didn't feel under pressure or rushed at any point. Hopefully I won't need to see Mr Khan again but if I do I would not hessitate

After an horrific 9 months of pain as a result of experiencing 2 prolapsed discs; putting off surgery due to work commitments and listening to horror stories I finally conceded and had the op. Dr Almas Khan was excellent in all areas; from advice to performing the procedure. He was honest regarding possible risks based on sound statistical data and helped me realise that an operation was by far my best option. Post-op it was deemed that without it my pain would 'not' have subsided as it sometimes does with sciatica. 2 months on, I am not back at the gym, off all medication and pain free. I cannot reccomend Dr Khan enough and my one regret is that I could have avoided the intense pain and suffering if I had had the op months before. Thank you! I now have my life back...
