Tammy listened to any issues I had regarding my stoma and colostomy bags, finding alternatives that helped suit towards my needs.
Tried on different pouches and were given some to try at home to see which I preferred.
Very helpful and would recommend her for any advice and needs!

I was able to make an appointment very easily and multiple slots were offered, the longest was a six day wait. I was able to book an appointment 3 days from my call to the service.
The site is very COVID secure which is to be expected and the norm these days.
Very friendly staff on site and the nurse (Tammy) listened to me and the issues I have been having with my stoma.
Tammy had some solutions and suggestions / products that may help my situation. Very knowledgeable and relaxed with dealing with stoma patients without being condescending or treating me like a child which I experienced in my first few months of having a stoma.
I now feel more likely to reach out in the future if I have anymore problems.

Really great service by Tammy. Seen within a few days of first contact. tammy is personable, knowledgably and gave good advise.
Would not hesitate to seek advise from Tammy or NAMS , in the future.

Tammy - where do I start?
I will start with a huge thank you for all your support and kindness etc, you really are amazing and I am so happy that I work with you.
Over all your just an absolute star and a pleasure. You really do give a 5 star service to everyone not just our lovely service users and it is a pleasure to work with you.

Profile
I have been a registered nurse since 2007 and a prescribing nurse since 2017. I joined the Connect service as a specialist prescribing stoma nurse in 2020. Since joining the team I have completed in house training in stoma care and completed a university module in advanced stoma care in 2021.
Prior to joining the team I worked as a practice nurse with a specialist interest in diabetes and also at Queens Medical Centre in the head and neck department.
