Michaela has years of experience working in hospital, community and industry settings. Since qualifying in 1987 she has enjoyed working predominantly within colorectal and urology and has been a stoma care nurse since 2006. <br><br> She is actively involved with the Association of Stoma Care Nurses UK ( ASCN ) and is currently an area representative for the Central Region. <br><br> Most recently she has offered her clinical support within stoma care industry to assist with innovation and product development. <br><br> Michaela believes passionately in supporting those living with a stoma and looks forward to returning to a community role.

Such a lovely person, who actually listened to all the problems that I was getting with my stoma, and went into great detail on how to resolve the issues.
