Nurse Winnard was incredibly warm and welcoming during the entirety of my titration with her. I was very pleased with how the process went and the care provided aswell as the knowledge and eagerness to help find the best option for me. Her friendly approach put me at ease during a stressful and unsure time and remained professional throughout!
I would highly reccomend and have nothing but positives to say in regards to my treatment with her and im glad to have received her help during my titration!

I, unfortunately, was foolish enough not to pay attention to how the titration process worked but Jenny was there to support and explain everything. Jenny not only has the experience and knowledge to provide care but also warmth and kindness needed to get through a process that was unfamiliar and daunting to me. She made it easy!

Profile
Jenny Winnard, qualified as a Mental Health Nurse in 1999 from the University of Central Lancashire.
Jenny has predominantly worked in the area of Adult Psychiatry for 19 years, in both the acute in-patient and community settings. She has expertise in a wide range of mental health conditions having worked closely with patients and their families and carers for a number of years. During this time she has received awards from NICE (The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) and the BMA (British Medical Association) for work she was and remains dedicated to in the area of Self-Harm, producing a Self Help Booklet that is widely used within the NHS and also nationally.
Jenny has also worked within Substance Misuse Services and also had a Professional Lead Nurse role within the NHS for a large Mental Health Network.
In 2015 Jenny successfully qualified as an Independent Nurse Prescriber, which she undertook at Edge Hill University. She now specialises as an Adult ADHD Specialist Nurse Prescriber within the NHS.
Jenny also has her own private Adult ADHD Assessment and Treatment Service, and is currently working with Psychiatry-UK providing support to the Consultant Psychiatrists during the treatment titration and stabilisation process for Adults with ADHD.
Jenny is hugely passionate about Nursing and ADHD and prides herself on high quality, compassionate person centred care for all.
