Jackie is a very chatty and empathetic lady, and we are lucky that she is a constant presence whenever we have the necessity to be in the hospital for a clinic or procedural appointment. She always gives patients and their families as much time as they need in their appointments; She makes patients feel very comfortable, is very personable. She always makes sure that we have understood everything and gives us plenty of opportunity to ask questions. She is very efficient and makes her patients feel valued.

Mrs. Jackie Hawkins is one of the kindest persons I've ever met. The way she takes cares of our son makes me and my wife very confident. We are sure that your son couldn't be in better hands and we are very happy with all treatment ever received by Mrs. Jackie Hawkins.

Jackie is lovely, she is kind and caring and makes us feel at ease every time we attend St Marks. She is very professional and keeps us updated about what is going to happen and puts our mind at rest. She explains things in detail and contacts us before my daughter’s procedure to check that we are ok and ask if we have any questions or concerns. She takes time to ask about both my children and remembers about their interests and achievements as well as the important medical history etc.. We see Jackie for a consultation the day before the procedure and then she comes round the following morning to see my daughter before she goes into theatre and then again a couple of times after theatre. We all feel at ease and relaxed for the two days we are there. My daughter thinks Jackie is amazing and we will be very sad not to see her when we eventually have to attend the adult clinic.

Jackie and all the staff are an exceptional team. As parents of a ten year old we could not have wished for a more caring, considerate and professional approach to all our needs. Jackie's personal attention to all her patients is to be commended. We believe that this approach is felt right across the team. Communication and re-assurance in advance of and on the day of our daughters stay was excellent. The whole process says to us that this is a well organised and caring environment, staffed by dedicated professionals delivering the highest possible standards of care. Our daughter is having ongoing care in the department and each time we have attended the experience has been made easier for her by all the staff. They continue to exhibit a clear understanding of an individuals needs and are happy to assist in making what can be a stressful experience for any child, as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Thank you so very much, to Jackie and all the excellent doctors and staff for all your hard work.

I have a phobia of needles, and when i had a cannula she stayed with me to make sure i was ok. Jackie is lovely and would do anything to make sure we're comfortable.
