Jackie is invaluable, she goes far and beyond to put us at ease, keep us informed and reassured and feel safe. My approach to my son's genetic condition would not be the same without her and Dr Hyer. I am always so surprised of how well she can remember every detail of my son's health! Thank you for being there Jackie, it wouldn't be the same without you !

Jackie is a great nurse. She is kind and considerate towards my family and makes us feel totally at ease with our time at St. Mark’s.. She has been a constant through the past few years and phones regularly to give me updates about my son’s care and always explains thing clearly. She remembers important things about his life and is genuinely interested in his welfare. When you have a child with a long-term medical condition it really helps to feel safe and secure in the knowledge that the people looking after them really care about their treatment. Jackie absolutely puts my mind at rest and we would be lost without her.

Jackie has been involved in the care of all three of my children who have FAP. First as ward sister on the children's ward at St Marks and subsequently as the Specialist Polyposis Nurse. Jackie has been there not just for my children but also for us as parents which is so important when you are dealing with an inherited condition. Jackie goes above and beyond her duty of care, ensuring that she keeps us informed at all times of hospital appointments, procedures and treatment and most importantly she listens and her nursing care is exceptional. My daughter has recently had her surgery at St Marks and Jackie was there from the moment she was admitted through to discharge. Jackie puts her patients needs first at all times and without her support in the anaesthetic room I am sure I would never have been able to help my daughter through the anaesthetic procedure. Jackie is passionate about her role and this is demonstrated in her compassion and kindness and her desire to help her patients through what is often a very challenging experience. I am truly grateful for everything that Jackie has done for us as a family.

Jackie has been great with my son. From the moment of diagnosis, to treatments and through the transition into adult services. Jackie makes sure that everything is done to the best of her ability. Jackie is also a great support and always listens to your worries and try and supports you.
