I first met Alison when I come to clinic to meet Mr Satyadas before my surgery at Manchester Royal. She was extremely welcoming and friendly throughout the meeting and provided me with her phone number In case I had any questions or queries about the upcoming surgery. She always replied and put my mind at ease & come to see me on the ward post op, always professional and down to earth. I had two major operations in four months at M.R.I.My care by everyone from the nursing staff up to the consultants was excellent.After both operations the care I received in H.D.U. was excellent the staff were always very attentive,day shift and night shift.When back on Ward 7 all the nursing staff day and night looked after me very well.Neil the dietitian who I have seen a few times give me a lot of advice about my diet and things I can do to recover from my ops.Alison Maugham the specialist nurse has been a god send being able to speak to her on the phone about any concerns I have about my surgery .Even if I did not feel good she would talk it over with me on the phone.Last but not least Mr R Deshpande cannot thank him enough on two good ops he has performed on me.ALL MY THANKS TO EVERYONE AT M. R.I .

Alison has a special knack of putting patients at ease. She deals with all queries, however trivial, with relaxed professionalism. She always returned calls and smoothed the path for appointments and clinics. Alison was always friendly and approachable, great assets when dealing with worried patients.
