This surgery has gone down hill since the merge with Pathfields. The new staff are rude and unhelpful, the old staff appear downtrodden and they too are now unhelpful. Trying to get an appointment - historically has always been a joke but is even worse now. Appointments aren't being recorded incorrectly so are not showing up and then others are double booking, and I do not want to hear 'its a new computer system' as that is no excuse. New doctors and locums mean no consistency or patient care, the allotted time for an appointment isn't enough for the Doctor to understand the history of a patient and so diagnosis seems 'blind'.

Terribly dated GPs. Receptionists very unhelpful. They don't like to do anything over the phone and their are no online options. The appointments are very restricted. I work full time with a small child and they can't even offer asthma clinics after 3pm or on a Friday afternoon. They do not open Saturday mornings and getting a repeat prescription is a drama by having to write a letter, drive to the surgery, come back 2 days later and then go to a pharmacy! Hardly convenient for working people! The system of not being able to pre book appointments but having to ring endlessly at 830am on the day is a joke for working people! My boss appreciates me spending 30mins calling and not being able to notify of an appointment till after 830am on the day!

First big improvement would be to sack Teresa the receptionist. All staff are amazing but Teresa goes out of her way to make things hard. She recently refused to let me have a doctors call back, I knew my problem just needed a prescription. Teresa said they don't do this. I called back & spoke to someone else & got the callback & prescription. When I suggested to Teresa she Mayb giving wrong information & it's happened more then once. Her reply was "I suggest you speak to another receptionist when you call then" We have now been forced to move surgeries. Because she is a bully. We also struggle getting any appointments. Having a almost 2 yr old & 3 yr old this isn't great.

Receptionists and doctors and nurses are all kind and helpful, and informative. I cannot praise them enough I know appointments are a problem but the 8am struggle to get through is frustrating and distressing. however I have now had appointments made to see the doctor twice in advance so I hope things will improve. Car parking is not too bad. I'm sure it would be impossible if they had "drop in" surgeries, the appointment system works well on the whole.

The Doctors & Nurse Service is excellent, How-ever getting to see them a nightmare because there's too many Patients on the books. its taken over a week to get an appointment after receiving a Telephone call asking to come in and see Doctor. I shouldn't have to go through the telephone system after that, an appointment should have been given with the call. I wasted over 40 minutes on the telephone to finally get through and be told No appointments Left, then waiting 5 more days to come in. I would also like to high-light the Government directive on Priority treatment to Veterans, its not employed at this surgery.
