Reviews
I was treated on time and with great courtesy. I felt I was listened to and all questions were clear and my responses noted.
I was given clear options about my condition and its nature.
I was left in no doubt about what steps to take in the future and both reassured and far more confident at the end of the consultation.
Many thanks.
Just like in the other reviews about Ms Bronder, I can thoroughly recommend that anyone seeking professional help in her sphere could find nobody better. Patients who need this treatment are naturally nervous and this lady could not have made me feel more at ease.
What can I say? From GP to the results of my gastroscopy/colonoscopy the care and speed of it was amazing. The procedure was done in a caring and very professional way.I am quite embarassed that I struggled with the gastroscopy and apologise profusely to the team involved I have spoken to people who come from other health authorities who are amazed at the speed of my care.I feel so lucky to live within the Morecambe Bay area, as on other ocaisions, when having cat scans etc., I have never had to wait more than a couple of weeks for any of my appointments. The care teams are so professional despite being totally undervalued by the current government.I want to thank everybody who has looked after me . The NHS is only surviving today because of their selfless attitude and professionalism .........THANK YOU
My review concerns the whole team that dealt with me.
In May of this year I was detecting changes in my bowel movements, along with the occasional signs of blood and considerable pain.
Following an appointment with a GP at Queen Street Surgery I was given an appointment for a Colonoscopy at Westmorland General. The results of this were inconclusive as the imaging camera could not move past the narrowing of the sigmoid section in my colon and as a result I then had a CT Colonography examination at the RLI.
Some days later Ms Bronder herself 'phoned me at home to suggest that I had a Sigmoidoscopy to achieve a better view beyond the narrowing and hopefully a conclusive diagnosis. This was only her advice as she believed that Cancer was not the issue but felt it advisable to be absolutely sure.
I took her advice and had the Sigmoidoscopy in Kendal.
Happily the final result was not life threatening but instead Diverticular disease which with recommended treatment i.e. Dietary changes, I am to date able to stay pain free and with normal bowel behaviour.
I really appreciate Ms Bronder's advice to have one more examination which afterwards gave me long awaited peace of mind. I wish to thank everyone involved at both Kendal and the RLI for their kindness and support at a very worrying time for me and my partner.
Unfortunately, I never met Ms Bronder but her call to me was informative and her manner kind and reassuring. I will be forever grateful for her advice.
I did not see Ms Bronder but was directed straight to a colonoscopy. This was carried out very professionally and with great care and humour by a team of three. I was kept informed at all times and care was taken to warn me of possible painful developments.
