From the moment I walked into the room with Mrs Carmichael I felt a sense of confidence that I was in, not just capable hands, but in the hands of someone who cared about every element of the process and had my best interests at heart. My first impressions have been consistently reinforced throughout pre and post surgery phases and she is clearly a very skilled surgeon. I was given excellent and thoroughly explained options, guidance and advice prior to surgery. On the day of my mastectomy I was made to feel that my outcomes really mattered, not just to me, but to her and her wonderful team too. After care has been faultless. Mrs Carmichael’s level of care and expertise is exemplary and I feel lucky to have been guided on this difficult journey by such a wonderful surgeon and woman.
