This lady is kind, hardworking and excellent at what she does. She is a total hero to the people she treats, making them feel safe and secure. I was given a detailed, reassuring and empathetic diagnosis, then talked through my breast cancer operation in detail. On the day Mrs Carmichael was so busy and I was her last patient of the day. She remained calm, dedicated and professional and friendly all the time. She has done a beautiful job of my surgery and made sure the incision sits below the bra line, even though this wasn’t the easiest approach. I thoroughly recommend this consultant.

Mrs Carmichael, is a very professional experienced, nurturing doctor who listen's attentively to her patients and their family members with their concerns and questions. This incredible surgeon has always put my mum at ease with her concerns, showing warmth and sensitively during these sessions. Her surgical work is so neat and proficient due to her excellent dexterity and surgery experience that resulted in my mum to recover successfully despite her underlying health conditions. I wish Mrs Carmichael a healthy, successful and prosperous life with her family as she is one in a million intelligent lady when it comes to saving women's lives which is a blessing in disguise! Keep up the great work, wishing you all the very best in health and wealth.

Professor Carmichael is a lovely lady, always very friendly and puts you at your ease. I have the neatest scar ever! She has been there for me over the last 18 months and has made my horrible journey that much easier to bear. I would definitely recommend her. I can't praise her enough.
