Mrs Carmichael is so caring, thoughtful & extremely thorough when discussing surgery. I have had 2 surgeries performed by her, of which were both at the very highest standard. She really does put her heart into her work of which she is very knowledgeable in her field. I actually can not thank her enough for how much she has done to help me feel at my very best physically & emotionally. Mrs Carmichael, you really are the guardian angel of breast surgery. I cannot overstate how outstanding Mrs Carmichael was from start to finish of my time at Queen’s Hospital. Her calm manner and obvious considerable knowledge and expertise put me at ease and I felt immediately that I could trust her and that I was in safe hands. She demonstrated humanity and empathy in a way sometimes lacking in doctors, and was excellent in dealing with my emotional issues as well as physical. A wonderful woman, an incredible surgeon and exceptional human being.
