Reviews
The standard of care that I have recieved both from Ward 4/40 at Hull Royal (and Out-Patients at Castle Hill) and the combined teams, specifically Mr Arzoglou, has been exemplary over the last 6 months.
Mr Arzoglou will, I am shure, have a very busy agenda but I have appreciated the fact that during our appointments he has taken time to share and discuss my prognosis. He has also been very helpful with supporting documentation that has helped in getting back to work etc.
The only downside, and this not critical of Mr Arzoglou, is the response time in getting information / formal letters back which in the case of my last letter took a month from surgery to receipt of letter. Having said that then this was over the festive period so I did anticipate some delay.
Overall I am very, very pleased with the accuracy, patience and attenitiveness of Mr Arzoglou. An excellent represenative of the mediacla profession and of the standard set by the NHS.
From the onset, my diagnosis was comprehensively and clearly explained and the options open to me were discussed in a way which was easy to comprehend. All correspondence was very clear and all meetings were conducted in a friendly and compassionate manor. Overall a very positive experience
Mr Arzoglou has a very pleasant and reassuring manner. He explained the problem clearly and set out the options available for treatment.
I was very happy with the treatment given and felt that I was in good hands.
I had great treatment under this surgeon and his team, everything was explained fully to me before surgery and the after care was absolutely superb, all the staff at the hospital were wonderful nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending this surgeon and his team to anyone.
Mr Vasileios Arzoglou asked about my problem then turned his back to me to study the images on his computer. the only thing I heard (he was facing away from me) was 6th/7th. I assume that was in relation to my spine. He told me he would not operate: could get an infection or paralysis. Suggested I alter my life style - not to look down at my Ipad but up to tv. I left still not knowing what is wrong with my hand!
