I can only reinforce what I read in previous reviews.Dr Abuzoda is a highly skilled surgeon and his patient care is outstanding.He listened to me,explained everything very well and reassured me during my procedure.I just wish every doctor would be a little bit like him.Cannot thank enough for looking after me.I'd also like to say that my whole experience at Fitzwilliam Hospital was great.At first I was a bit nervous if I would get treated differently as I was referred on the NHS not privately,but from reception till the post operation care, everyone was lovely.

I was referred to Mr Abuzoda after having seen another consultant at a different hospital, who in the end couldn’t find me a date for my operation. How glad am I now that they couldn’t! After a year long wait with the previous consultant I was desperate for my operation. When I met Mr Abuzoda and he was so smiley and explained everything thoroughly and completely put me at ease. He also recommended a different version of the operation and took great care to explain why and make sure I was happy with the decision. His care and kindness were just lovely. I was offered an operation date be following week! The day of the operation Mr Abuzoda came and spoke to me and was very reassuring again. The operation all went smoothly, he is a highly skilled surgeon and and he came to check on me the next day, explaining how things had gone and even apologised about the pain and discomfort I would feel over the next few weeks. I have just seen Mr Abuzoda again for my check up and he was reassuring and took time to answer all my questions. I really can’t thank him enough and would recommend him without hesitation.

I was referred to Mr Abuzoda in September 2018 after growing 2 complex cysts (one removed in November 17 under another surgeon at Peterborough) and many years of heavy painful periods. Mr Abuzodo welcomed me with a pleasant friendly handshake a bright smile and a soft but confident tone which immediately made me feel relaxed. He went on to ask about my symptoms history general health and well-being he listened with interest and never once made me feel that what I was saying was insignificant, he offered me his professional advice and recommended a number of treatment options. I was admitted on the 28th December for a total hysterectomy which was carried out successfully under Mr Abuzodas care. This surgeon showed professionalism kindness and warmth to me when I felt very vulnerable, he visited the ward on the evening after surgery and again on the Saturday morning. I was discharged the following day to convalesce at home. I was seen in out patients yesterday by Mr Abuzoda his kindness warmth and professionalism was as apparent as on our first meeting, I would have no concerns with being referred to him in the future. The women in our country and Peterborough NHS trust are very fortunate to have such a wonderful surgeon.

What a fabulous doctor! After having a 9lb 4 baby boy i suffered from third degree tears and subsequently had to have the Fenton's operation. He understood my fears and anxiety and ensured I had a good knowledge and understanding of the operation before I went under! The care I received from all of the staff at the Fitzwilliam hospital was second to none! I was such a nervous patient but they were so caring! My follow up appointment with Dr Abuzoda put my mind at ease that all his hard work had paid off and ensured me that I would be under his care for future babies/deliveries. This is truly a blessing as I know I will be getting the best care there is out there! I would totally recommend Dr Abuzoda to all women. Thank you to you and your team!
