Patient of Mr Thomas Satyadas at Manchester Royal Infirmary All the plaudits that have been given on this website regarding Mr Thomas Satyadas are so very true. I was advised in October last year that I needed a Whipple procedure. A very frightening prospect. Luckily I had been recommended to see Mr Satyadas. My husband and I met with him and my fears were immediately allayed. He explained everything so clearly and his whole persona exuded confidence which in turn he gave to us. He guided me through a very difficult period. Time is something Thomas has in abundance for his patients. He also spent a great deal of his time with my husband and two sons answering their questions. nothing was too much trouble. He kept my family informed every step of the way. The care by his team at the MRI was first class from theatre to HDU and eventually ward 12, with ongoing scans and clinic appointments. Six months hence I have my life back. As a wife mother and grandma I thank you Mr Thomas Satyadas . I have a great deal of affection for this man - as a surgeon he is pure genius. If you want great care you will not find better than he. I have been most lucky to have Mr. Thomas Satyadas as my consultant. I have no words to express my gratitude to the very kind, compassionate gentleman. I have had nothing but the best advise and care given by him. He is a kind of person that makes you feel better the first time you see him, no matter what the issue, regarding your health. He was very precise and open about what was he intending to do. I could not have asked for a better consultant/surgeon. Soon after my operation, Mr. Satyadas personally called my son who had accompanied me, to let him know that everything had gone well. I felt important and not just another patient on his list. Thank you Mr. Satyadas. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I could praise you for ever. You are a great person.

Best doctor ever!! I'm 25 years old and was very scared of the surgery but Dr Satyadas made me feel at ease and was very attentive! I got my lap chole done by keyhole surgery at the Alexandra hospital. If it wasn't for Dr Satyadas I would have delayed the surgery a couple of months just because I thought I was not ready but I'm glad I listened to him!! I have seen so many people suffer from gas and pain after the surgery while I've had very little problem with the gas and very bearable pain! (Not even need strong pain killers 2 paracetamols did the job) He not only took great care of me popping down to see me before the surgery but also after his duty hours just to make sure I was ok and most importantly he went to see my very anxious husband after the surgery while I was in recovery which was very kind of him! I would recommend dr Satyadas to everyone going private or via nhs as he is amazing!!! Thanks a lot doctor I'm very grateful to u

I had a double hernia operation in April 2016, and the level of care I experienced was superb. Dr Satyadas was at the heart of this care, easing my anxieties throughout. He explained my procedure in detail and helped me overcome any fears I had, whilst also recommending a great physiotherapist to help with my recovery. He was always easy to get hold of and my follow up care was excellent.

Following a most thorough preliminary examination Mr Satyadas repaired inguinal hernias on both sides. All aspects were explained,clearly, and in a friendly manner. The operation was performed at the Highfield Hospital, Rochdale. I returned home next day.One in his late eighties could not have asked for more.
