Patient of Mr Thomas Satyadas at Manchester Royal Infirmary All the plaudits that have been given on this website regarding Mr Thomas Satyadas are so very true. I was advised in October last year that I needed a Whipple procedure. A very frightening prospect. Luckily I had been recommended to see Mr Satyadas. My husband and I met with him and my fears were immediately allayed. He explained everything so clearly and his whole persona exuded confidence which in turn he gave to us. He guided me through a very difficult period. Time is something Thomas has in abundance for his patients. He also spent a great deal of his time with my husband and two sons answering their questions. nothing was too much trouble. He kept my family informed every step of the way. The care by his team at the MRI was first class from theatre to HDU and eventually ward 12, with ongoing scans and clinic appointments. Six months hence I have my life back. As a wife mother and grandma I thank you Mr Thomas Satyadas . I have a great deal of affection for this man - as a surgeon he is pure genius. If you want great care you will not find better than he.
