Saw Mr Sethi for a problem with my knee. He explained the MRI results fully, told me about my options and possible outcome if I choose to have surgery or not. He explained fully what the operation would entail, and answered all my questions and concerns. Mr Sethi is very personable, seemed kind and thoughtful and took the time to go over everything with me. He knows his stuff - NHS at it's finest!

After my initial consultation I met Mr Deepu Sethi the day of my operation. … He provided a better insight into the surgery; the risks involved and asked me to confirm if I still wanted to go-ahead. Having not received this information prior to appointment, I felt that I was making a well informed decision to have the operation. Mr Deepu Sethi is very personable and professional and I am very happy with the results after the operation.

This doctor was very caring from his pre op bed manners to his after op advice in the recovery room and beyond at final outpatient visit. My experience of a spinal anaesthetic was very good despite me being extremely nervous I would however suggest to the theatre team a set of headphones and music to be offered as the sound of sawing, drilling and banging was a little off putting but did not reflect on this doctor who carried out the operation.

I am a medical student currently on the Orthopaedic rotation, and Mr Sethi has been a great teacher throughout my placement. He is very keen to teach, and always explains new topics in thorough and patient manner. From the post-operative clinics, to the surgery, I would highly recommend any patient to seek him as their surgeon. As I am new to orthopaedics, Mr Sethi has throughout been very informative and helpful in allowing me to learn more about the speciality, and very encouraging of my skills. I wish him all the very best in his career, and only hope that I could have been doing this block longer in order to learn more from his very experienced self!

Last year I tore my ACL (ligament in my knee), playing football. I saw Mr Sethi who explained very clearly what my treatment options were. I decided to proceed with an ACL reconstruction, Mr Sethi has a great bedside manner and he put me at ease, I had great confidence in him. The operation was a total success and I am delighted with the result - I recently returned to playing football and my knee feels great. I cannot recommend Mr Sethi highly enough - I wouldn't hesitate in recommending anyone with a knee problem to go and see Mr Sethi. He is a brilliant doctor and surgeon. Thank you Mr Sethi, I wish more doctors were like you.
