I was very nervous before my operation and concerned about expressing how I felt. Mr. Ahmed and the whole team listened to me and were very reassuring. After the operation I was not in pain and I was made very comfortable. Mr. Ahmed spoke to me after my operation and was informative about the future outcome. As for the nurses and carers on ward 12 they were fantastic, nothing seemed too much trouble. If anyone else is going to see Mr. Ahmed and the team then they can rest assured they will be treated with compassion and understanding.

Mr Ahmed is a rare kind of consultant as in HE LISTENS ! He didn't treat me like he only had a 15 minute slot , he took time to explain everything in language I understood , not all medical jargon . Truly an asset to the profession just wish there were more consultants like him . I saw him at the Breast Clinic so was really on edge , his welcoming smile made me relax instantly !

I saw Mr Ahmed on three occasions, prior to breast surgery, for post surgery treatment and a follow up consultation. In each instance, I found Mr Ahmed to be professional, friendly, helpful and very good at what he does. In my opinion, Mr Ahmed was exemplary in manner and in explaining the results so that the information can be easily digested. I very much appreciated that he took the time to listen and to answer (a lot of) questions, providing the time and reassurance that is much needed at a stressful time for a cancer patient. Although not my main consultant, he was on top of all the detail. Mr Ahmed has a lovely manner and style which puts a patient at their ease which is also much appreciated in addition to providing clear and helpful responses. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Ahmed.

Mr SK. Farid Ahmed listened to me, which not all doctors do, I felt very comfortable at all times. If I was unfortunate enough to have to go back, I would be happy to see him again as I know I would be in safe hands.

Straight away Mr Ahmed put me at ease. Then he examined me with sensitivity. After that there was a plan of action which was of great comfort as I had spent about three weeks worried about the breast pain Now I will have the courage to consult Mr Ahmed again
